Kingdom Voyage

Module 1 | Receive

Life in Jesus

Kingdom Voyage begins with the most important question: Where does life come from?

Big Idea

Life is received, not achieved. Jesus is not merely our example; He is our life.

Welcome to Kingdom Voyage

Kingdom Voyage is a five-module journey designed to help you pay attention to Jesus, understand how God has shaped you, grow in daily life with Him, join Him in His mission, and discover your next faithful step at Keys Vineyard.

We deliberately do not begin with personality, spiritual gifts, volunteering, or finding a place to serve. We begin with Jesus.

Reflect

Begin Where You Are

Kingdom Voyage is not about pretending you are somewhere spiritually that you are not. You may have followed Jesus for many years, be returning to faith, be new to church, or still be exploring what you believe.

Take a moment to consider:

Where would you say you are with the Lord right now?

What do you hope God may do in you during Kingdom Voyage?

Learn

The Story We Are Learning to Live

These convictions shape the way we understand life with Jesus at Keys Vineyard. They are not isolated ideas. Together they tell a story.

Life is received, not achieved.

We were created to receive life from God rather than manufacture identity, worth, security, or spiritual life for ourselves.

Jesus is not merely our example; He is our life.

Christianity is more than trying to imitate Jesus. Our life is found in union with Him.

The Bible tells one unified story centered on Christ.

From creation to new creation, Scripture reveals God’s work to restore His people and His world through Jesus.

The Kingdom of God is God’s invitation to live under His loving reign.

Jesus invites us to trust the goodness of the King and learn His way of life.

Christian formation is learning daily dependence upon the Father.

Maturity does not mean needing God less. We learn, like Jesus, to live in dependence upon the Father.

The Holy Spirit forms Christ within us.

Transformation is not merely self-improvement. The Spirit works within us to form the life of Jesus.

Every day offers a choice for life.

Again and again we decide where we will look for life and whose way we will trust.

God’s desire has always been to form a people who live from the Tree of Life.

From creation to new creation, God is forming a people whose lives flow from His presence, His provision, and His life.

The Story

God created us for life with Him. Sin teaches us to reach for life apart from Him. Jesus restores us to life in God. The Spirit forms that life within us. Scripture ends where it began—with God’s people living from the Tree of Life in His presence.

John 10:10

“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

What stands out to you?

Which of these convictions most catches your attention, encourages you, or raises a question?

Consider

The Kingdom: Life Under the King

The Kingdom of God is not simply a place we go someday. It is God’s reign becoming present as we trust the King and learn His ways. Jesus invites us to receive life from Him and bring every part of our lives under His loving leadership.

Consider one ordinary area of your life.

Where might Jesus be inviting you to trust Him more fully—work, family, money, relationships, decisions, worry, conflict, time, or something else?

What might receiving life from Jesus look like there?

Practice

Daily Life Intake

Daily Life Intake: Thirty Days of Learning to Live from the Tree of Life is a free companion resource that can help you continue practicing the central idea of this module.

This is not homework to complete perfectly. Use it as an invitation to notice where you are receiving life from Jesus and where you may still be trying to manufacture life for yourself.
