KINGDOM VOYAGE

MODULE 2 | DISCOVER

How God Has Shaped You

Discover patterns in how God has shaped you, how He may work through you, and what He may be doing in your life right now.

MODULE 2

Discover How God Has Shaped You

In Module 1, we began with the source of our life: Jesus. That matters as we begin to learn more about ourselves.

DISC, GIFT, and PATH can help us notice important patterns in our lives, but none of these assessments gets the final word about who we are. Our identity is in Christ.

BIG IDEA

God is at work in who you are, how He has gifted you, and where you are in your journey with Him.

A profile can help describe you. It does not define you. Your identity is in Christ.

THREE QUESTIONS

Three Ways to Pay Attention

Each assessment looks at your life from a different perspective. Together they give us clues for discernment.

D

DISC

How am I wired?

DISC helps you notice natural patterns in how you approach people, problems, decisions, pace, and details.

G

GIFT

How might God work through me?

GIFT helps you notice broad patterns in how God may use you to encourage, strengthen, guide, and serve others.

P

PATH

Where am I in my journey with Jesus?

PATH helps you consider your present spiritual season and what Jesus may be inviting you toward next.

DISC

How Am I Wired?

DISC gives us a simple language for natural behavioral tendencies. We all have all four tendencies to some degree, although one or two are usually more prominent.

D

Dominant

Action, challenge, decisions, and results.

I

Influencing

People, enthusiasm, communication, and connection.

S

Steady

Support, consistency, patience, and cooperation.

C

Compliant

Accuracy, quality, thoughtfulness, and standards.

The Combination Matters

Your primary DISC pattern tells only part of the story. Your secondary pattern adds important texture. Two people with the same primary letter can look quite different because of their combination.

Remember: Every strength still needs to be formed into the likeness of Jesus. DISC may help explain a tendency, but it never excuses unloving or irresponsible behavior.

REFLECT

Consider Your DISC Results

  • What part of your DISC result feels most like you?
  • What does your secondary style add to the picture?
  • Where has one of your natural strengths helped other people?
  • Where might Jesus be continuing to form that strength?

GIFT

How Might God Work Through Me?

GIFT gives us language for broad ways God may work through a person. The four movements are Guide, Inspire, Foster, and Transform.

G
GUIDE Wisdom Cultivator

Helps others understand truth, grow in wisdom, and follow God’s direction.

I
INSPIRE Faith Catalyst

Awakens faith, encourages hope, and helps others move forward with confidence.

F
FOSTER Community Nurturer

Cares for people, builds relationships, and creates environments where others can belong and flourish.

T
TRANSFORM Kingdom Architect

Builds, organizes, and mobilizes people and resources for God’s purposes.

Look for Patterns, Not a Label

Your GIFT result is not a ministry assignment. It is an invitation to notice where you come alive, where other people seem to be helped, and where God may already be using you.

REFLECT

Consider Your GIFT Results

  • What part of your result sounds most like you?
  • What surprised you?
  • Where have you already seen this pattern in your life?
  • When have you felt especially alive while helping another person?
  • Is there something you would like an opportunity to explore?

PATH

Where Am I in My Journey?

PATH asks a different kind of question. DISC and GIFT tend to describe more enduring patterns. PATH helps you consider your present spiritual season.

P
PURSUE Awakening Disciple

God is awakening spiritual hunger, curiosity, and a desire for deeper life with Him.

A
ABIDE Rooted Disciple

God is inviting deeper rootedness through prayer, Scripture, and steady rhythms of grace.

T
TRANSFORM Responsive Follower

God is reshaping priorities, patterns, relationships, direction, or calling.

H
HARVEST Fruitful Servant

God is expanding opportunities to serve, encourage, lead, mentor, and invest in others.

PATH describes a season, not a spiritual rank. Pursue, Abide, Transform, and Harvest are not four levels of Christians.

A longtime follower of Jesus can enter a fresh Pursue season because God is awakening new hunger. Someone in a Harvest season may later enter Transform as God reshapes priorities, relationships, direction, or calling. You may also recognize characteristics of more than one season at the same time.

REFLECT

Consider Your PATH Results

  • What feels accurate about your PATH result?
  • Where do you sense God working in you right now?
  • Does your secondary PATH profile help describe your season?
  • What might Jesus be inviting you toward next?

DISCERN

Putting the Three Together

Assessment becomes most useful when we move from individual scores toward discernment.

DISC

How I Am Wired

I tend to…

GIFT

How God May Work Through Me

I seem to come alive when…

PATH

Where I Am Right Now

In this season, God seems to be…

TAKE SOME TIME WITH THIS QUESTION

What do I notice when I put these three together?

Look for connections, tensions, surprises, repeated themes, and questions. You do not need a polished answer.

You do not have to figure yourself out tonight. We are collecting clues. Some things become clearer only as we follow Jesus, practice, serve, relate to others, receive feedback, and try things.

SCRIPTURE TO CARRY WITH YOU

Different People. The Same Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:4–7

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. What God gives is intended for the common good.

Ephesians 2:10

We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for good works He has prepared for us.

God Is Not Making Identical Christians

God is forming a people with different personalities, gifts, experiences, and seasons—with one life in Christ and one Spirit at work among us.

BEFORE MODULE 3

Prepare for PRACTICE

Module 3 is PRACTICE — Growing in Life with Jesus. We will move from asking how God has shaped us and where we are right now to asking how we are learning to live with Jesus in this season.

THE CONNECTION

PATH helped you consider where you are. Christian Practices will help you explore practices that may be particularly helpful in this season.

NEXT STEP

Christian Practices Recommendation

Explore the Christian Practices and receive a personalized recommendation. Use the result as a starting point for choosing a practice to try—not as another label to collect.

Explore Christian Practices

REMEMBER

God is at work in who you are, how He has gifted you, and where you are in your journey with Him.

DISC, GIFT, and PATH provide clues. Continue following Jesus, paying attention, practicing, serving, listening to others, and allowing the Holy Spirit to bring greater clarity over time.
